KO2CV : how to practice free kicks and corners

So I went into ko2cv options and selected practice free kicks( or was it corners or penalties?.) I started a practice game and also tried with a regular game but see nothing. How does this work?

Is it possible to practice corners ? Practice mode is ok but there are no opposition player on the pitch so it's not that realistic.
Is it possible to practice free kicks ?

"Free Kick Mode - toggle on/off ( Take the ball to where you want to take the free kick from. Hit F2 to set the position. Get possession of the ball and Hit F3. A free kick will be taken from the selected position. When you have possession of the ball again, hit F3 to take again.. and again."
