Unfortunately I don't see any screenshots of the matchday action.
I thought Steve was going to work on the match presentation?

Hmm, I expected it to be more like PlayAsManager.
Bummer...

Surely those markers are just to show the time the play spent in that quadrant, for each team??

I thought the play was going to be similar to Player Manager 2003 which was kind of inbetween PAM and KO'02.

Who knows??

Certainly the comments at the bottom of the article aren't very positive.

Tell you the truth, this 100% looks like a footie manager game I won't buy. I'm not a big fan of spreadsheets personally...

Nothing even as advanced as the "fast match" in PM then

Nothing wrong with a 2D match engine, I've seen some decent variations (specially isometric view). This one here does look a bit bland, however... :(

I actually thought the 2d Match engine in CM 2004 was excellent.

Oh well what do I know.

Would be nice to see the PAM engine in there tho lets be honest :)

Anyway, I like detailled management games, I for one am looking forward to it, and with Steve on the project it will probably be excellent (As long as that runty potato head Kyne doesn't have too much involvement of course :) :) )

I actually preferred the 2D match engine in PAM to the 3D one, which was just daft. I guess 3D's are too prone to bugs as PAM was which spoil the game and make you feel there is something other than your management skills determining the outcome.
