I just read a review in a German gaming magazine during lunch break. It was very bad. A 30% rating by an eye-candy sucker, who complaint about how impossible it is to control anything.
What he rightfully complains about though, is the German translation. It must have been done by a guy with one dictionary and no clue. For example : an "exhibition" Match is not and never will be a "Vorführung", but a "Freundschaftsspiel" or "Testspiel". These are the weaknesses likely to kill the rating in a magazine, because it really doesn´t look like quality at all. And it seems like those writers rate games after playing maximum 2 hours (at least this one).
A 30% rating in one of those magazines might easily cut the sales in Germany by 20 percent. It must feel very bad to put so much work and heart in a project and see your company deal with it like this.
On the other hand, the German writer wouldn´t get it anyway. So ....
Next time let someone do the translations who knows German AND football.
Shhhshh

The french translation of the manual is quite approximative too and not very complete. That's a shame too.

As for me I don't care but a newbie may be disapointed not ot find anything interesting in the manual and moreover with a strange translation.

The next time, Steve can send me their french translation before the diffusion.

I just read it in a shopping-mart during my lunch break. It is only in print format and I wouldn´t bother scanning or even buying it, because it is not worth the money or time.
