Bad news, folks. I won't be able to make it to the UK Championships this year. My 50th birthday present from the wife has arrived.

Guess who's going to New York, in May? Oh and as a supplementary question, guess who's going to see The Who, live at Madison Square Gardens, on the 13th May?

If you guessed me and Karen then well done you!

Anyway, have fun!

Feeling happy and sad. But mostly happy. :D

Hey John, that's an understandable choice. But if you have a good relationship with the tournament organiser maybe he can find a suitable date so you can see the gig and play the tournament too.

Ok guys...a couple of options, please tell me your preferences:
Option 1: Room alone with tea, Coffee and biscuits = £250

Option 2: Room, Tea, Coffee, Biscuits, juice, cakes, fruit + a 2 course meal. £35 per head.

Either way i need people to confirm you can DEFINITELY make it.... please comment below.

definitely going

I'm happy with either option as long as time allows a meal, we usually overrun a bit without that

History suggests that finding time for a meal as well as a tournament in one day is going to be a stretch.

Good choice of location - should get international interest I hope!

It's also not far from Birmingham...
