NEEDED - Your Amigas & Monitors for UKC 14th May

Postby Logos » Tue Apr 12, 2016 11:25 am

We need 8 Amigas and 8 monitors or (14inch CRT TVs) for things to run smoothly at the UKC.

So, let's start an Amiga/Monitor pledge, we need your hardware! :) (I'll include people from the UKC thread):

1) Rob S: x1 Amiga, x1 Monitor
2) Andy G: x1 Amiga, x1 14inch CRT TV
3) Ely: x1 Philips Monitor
4) JohnVella: x1 Amgia, x1 14inch CRT TV
5) Steve E: x2 Amigas, x2 CRT TVs
6) Steve C: x3 Amigas, x3 TVs

(Emergency Amiga and TV offer kindly made by Lee, which we might need to accept if we do not reach the required amount).

That's a very kind offer Lee, pity you can't make it!

If the hardware numbers are low we just might need them, but I do hope we can achieve the numbers from the attendees, come on people, make your pledge! :)

I now have a 14" CRT TV, (with built in video, no less!) that, although I haven't tested yet, am confident will work.

DO you have a SCART lead for your Amiga John? They make a world of difference to the picture quality.

I do have a scart lead, but I've not been able to get the Amiga working with it, on the 14" even though it does work on a 50" TV with the same cable.

I got it working using the composite video to scart lead I also have.

Hopefully, I might be able to get a second opinion when I bring the kit over... ;)

Andy, I'll be able to bring at least two complete A1200's. (with TV's).

Will also bring my soldering iron kit if people are having joystick troubles.
