A rare newbie for the Italian Championship: Francesco S is confirmed. he will come along with his Mist hardware. I'm really interested to see how Mist works, if it is a "real" amiga, it could be very interesting.

Along with this very good news, come also a couple of drops: Luigi and Sandro cannot make it. It is curious! Sandro played the UK Champs but he will defect the Italian Champs!

What a fantastic weekend me and my son had in Italy!!! We couldn't dream of having such a great time. Big thank you to Gianni and the rest of the Royal Family (tm). And just to imagine, all the hospitality we where grazed with, was made even better when I had such a good tournament. I'm all smiles. Thank you.

Just an interesting statistic:
we had the perfect situation of 7 amiga running and 14 players BUT, no matter how far, no matter how you can be organised, we played 91 matches in 4,5 hours. that means that no matter we could play all the round at once, we played slightly less than 3 matches per hour on every single amiga.
This is the reasons why we finish world cup at 11 pm: we think we can handle 4 or 4,5 games per hour on every amiga but it is a useless dream: no more than 3 per hour.
I will keep this number in mind when we will be arranging the format of the world cup.
