James, I think it works OK anyway - the more players in a tournament, the more TAX there is to be handed to the winner. The way it's been applied, the Dartford winner received more than the Gloucster winner for this reason.

Judging by the interest in Athens, if we have >32 players, the prize of winning will be HUGE.

The KOA world rankings will soon be 14 years old. Read the history here of their invention/formation, plus an evolving debate and explanation on their workings.

The rankings will be updated with the results of the Scandinavian tournament and Dublin World Cup, and I hope to post the January 2016 update over the coming period - as well as a clear explanation of the workings.

Any update on the rankings gents? Would be helpful for seeding my groups before the draw for the Dutch tourney this weekend. Even a provisional ranking list?
