Laid off with a 3 month warning. HR-Department searches for another, similar position for 2 weeks, starting today. If they don't find, or I don't get a job myself by end of January, I'm a part of the official statistics.

I hope this uncertain future will be clarified for the best soon. About the WC you will know better, but after all you have already paid the flights, which is the big spending. The rest is almost nothing, and it can be arranged.

Nah, the flights are cheap. But I don't know how much of a hassle the car-hire will be to transfer...

We want you there, but the car hire is nothing to sort out, I reckon you can cancel and get your money back...and we can hire two normal cars, I am more than happy to drive one.

The accomdation can be sorted, you need to worry about yourself really and nothing else.
