KOBRA I aka Birmingham I 28.2.07 RESULTS

Postby gdh82 » Wed Feb 21, 2007 6:44 pm

(cue dry ice, strobe lights and 2001: A Space Odessey theme music)

KORA, LOKO, and EAKO - bewarned: the KOBRA is coming.... We might just be witnessing the dawn of a new era, the emergence of a new...regional... KO2 super power* !!!

KOBRA=Kick Off Birmingham Registered Association! 8)

KOBRA I aka Birmingham I

(sorry, got abit carried away there - hype over)

Yep, I've posted enough about KO2 (for now anyway) so its time for some action! So I thought I'd have a bash at hosting my first (and last?) local tourney !! Well, with a number of local KO2 nuts it would have been rude not to

Date: Wednesday 28 February 2007 @ 8pm
Location: Castle Kobra, Birmingham B30 1NE

We probably already have enough players (demand being what it is!) My intention was to invite players in the birmingham area and northwards and to set a maximum number of players to 8. Responses so far:

garryc....yes
simonk....yes
stevee....yes + amiga
stevec....likely + amiga
jong......yes + amiga

Drop me a pm for more details...

GarryC aka gdh82 aka kobraman! :D

* well, the greenaways are brum's players of mass destruction!!!

Thanks for that, fellas! :)

A good tourney for me will be if everyone has good time and feels afterwards that they'd like to do it again sometime - fingers crossed! (Of course a fews wins would be nice too! :D )

I nearly called it KOBLA but that obviously sounded a load of cobblers!

Btw is it right that the host gets bonus ranking points?

Would certainly add a big fear factor for those of us, fighting it out down there! Not sure I could handle that as well!
