KOA - Choose your style.

I have imported 5 styles for the KOA.

I have messed with some of them to make them green, and the LOGO is going to be changed when I get the time.

However, I would like the KOA to retain the '1 style' methodology it has always had to ensure all users get a standard experience.

Therefore please vote on your preferred option for the KOA new styles.

To change the styles go to your User Control Panel (usually at the top right, the little head and body icon) - Then under 'Board Preferences' amend the STYLE to each and then when it has updated click on the main website logo to load the new style.

Two are 'full screen' styles and the others are minimised screen. All should be responsive so work on Mobiles, Tablets and Widescreen Monitors.....

Please feel free to ask me to TWEAK some of the colours (and the BLACK one looks terrible due to the LOGO I know!)

I am colour blind remember, so I have just had a go at retaining the GREEN/BLUE feels of our previous sites....so if you want the background a bit lighter or darker just say!

Torn between KOA_Latte and Simplicity.

Full width KOA_Latte would be an epic win.

I like bright as opposed to dark and full screen as opposed to narrow, hence Simplicity got my vote.

I think the full width variants don't look good on my 16:9 monitor, everything's "stretched out" too far. KOA_Latte gets my vote.

The full white background of Simplicity can be harsh for reading.

Also, the light green text of unread threads on the white background makes it hard to see.

Torn between Koa_latte and Black. Chose black, but would, if possible, have Koa_latte as a VERY good no. 2.

Having said that, I think the full-with alternatives will just take som getting used to.

Maybe then we should allow two styles - both the same colour scheme but in narrow and full width variants? I've just switched to black which is easy on the eyes, good contrast, though I still prefer KOA_Latte. But I really have to move my head left to right from a topic title on the very left to who posted and when on the right with full width with my new massive widescreen monitor.

I have used black in my wrestling site and I love it. The key here is not only to have a good looking template but one that the creator updates regularly when the phpBB is also updated. Arty is known phpBB contributor and he is good in that.

edit: dammit... New phpBB version. Next time I will keep my mouth shut about updates

Its nice on mobiles tho and i think arty did latte so I can always update koa latte
