Player Manager 2 Extra - Anyone still playing this?

hey everybody,

first of all a warm hello from the Netherlands.

secondly, i want to ask if there are still people playing "Player Manager 2 Extra" from Anco. All i see online is negative reviews of people who had a hard time playing it, but i think it's a great game and still play it - a lot . is there anyone else who thinks so?

I used to love it (its the one where you don't actuall play the game isn't it its an isometric pitch or something if I remember correctly)

It did seem to be a little unrealistic, and bad things happened to you for no reason quite a lot. But I haven't touched it in years (I remember playing it on the PC weeks before my daughter was born whilst drinking Chilean Merlot every night........don't ask why I remember that tho!)

Did it have the bug where the 'keeper kicks the ball straight into touch?

no, i can actually play in this one, and i don't think the keeper plays the ball straight into touch. i can choose "predict", "highlights", "play", "watch", or "fast scanner". I know it has some bugs, but not enough to stop me from playing. I kindof figured out how to please the board, so i don't get fired that much.

I'm confused - which game is that? In PM2 you couldn't play iirc - the title was misleading. Do you have any screenshots?

Yes you can play. The game engine is based on the KO3 engine.

Yes !!! I'm playing with it since a week on an old toshiba laptop ! What is the best tactic ? Do you play matches with "predict", "highlights", "play", "watch", or "fast scanner". The results are not the same. Please help me and give the all your tips ou cheats for this game? Thanks

I remember being so excited about it... played the demo on ( I think ) Amiga Power cover disk.... thought... fcuk! thats not right...



still bought it when it came out... because I loved Player Manager.... I tried and tried...
