Dutch open planned

Postby kRadD » Sun Feb 18, 2007 1:53 pm

Hello,

at the last german championship, Gunter W. and I decided, to organise a Dutsch championship.

The tournament will take place at the ouline party in Braamt / NL at the 11th-14th of May.

We planned to play on Sunday, but if more people wish to play on Saturday, that is also no problem.

It is not neccessary to book for all days at the party.

So far a place, a data and a location is available. We only need some other players to competet.

Hello Kick Off friends!
From Thorsten I heard about this Atari freak meeting. We can hold a Dutch open here. It would be ideal to have a KO2 event there, as this event is a good place to draft new people into the KOA.
Braamt is near Doetinchem, which is not very far from Germany.
Let me know if you are interested!

Players so far:
1. Thorsten B
2. Niels T
3. Jan T
4. Gunther W
5.

Interested:
1. Pascal
2. Waynie
3. Sid
4. Pansen

I am interested. :)

Last time at the KORA tournament, I mentioned briefly to the others the possibility of KORA challenging you guys to see who was the least runtiest. Didn't really get much feedback from them at the time, but if others are also interested, maybe we could make an expedition?

Tournament dates

Postby kRadD » Mon Feb 19, 2007 9:38 pm

Hi Gunter and the rest of the Dutsch maniacs :-)

the dates are right. Most of the people arrive on Friday, and most of them stay until Sunday.

So the plan is still to have the tournament on Sunday.

Postby kRadD » Mon Feb 19, 2007 9:50 pm

Beside a funny and challenging Tournament, there is also the party on a kind of Camping Yard. There are also some hotels in the near. Here a url of the location. As far as the official Party page is released, i will post it

@Waynie, I can't find runtiest in the english -> german translation , but I keep on searching. There are usually some people from the UK coming to the Outline party, so maybe you could join them.

Maybe I'll come for a quick visit on Sunday.
I will check this thread regularly when the plans develop for this Dut(s)ch championship.

This sounds like a nice opportunity for a KO2 tournament! Kick Off as part of a retro gaming/demoscene/beer drinking festival. :)

Maybe.... if Mark and Darren go too, then I most likely will too.

I've been to Holland once ... a stop over just for a few mins from Italy.
Didn't get a chance to see the attractions...

how far is Amsterdam? Closest airport?
