Top Lobbers score 9 out of 10 lobs!!!
one of the best is Waynie! I love scoring lobs, and as Swifty says, hate conceding them!! Sometimes you just get in the Lob Zone... and its all sailing in from there...

I presume then they are selective about where they lob from - otherwise they would surely score 25 goals every game!

And the way to defend against them is to keep them out of those areas.

So were not talking about speculative lobs, we're talking about setting yourself up right for a shot from distance from a "sweet spot." Right?

Yes
...but it is possible to score lobs from anywhere in the opponents half... abit of aftertouch... and some height ... if really far out ... and some dip and power if nearer the goal...

Well, if it was that easy to score goals, Camber would have had 15 goals on average, considering that half of his lobs go in. There's a comfort zone someway close to the center circle and diagonally outside the box.

I said "possible" ... but not always easy!
You are right on the sweet spot areas ... add just outside the D nr box too straight on, not just diagonally
