I really hope that's you and your dodgy amiga hardware which you obtained from that dodgy source.
But yes, if anyone notices an audio issue, or any other strangeness, let me know asap.
No Steve I can actually confirm this. At some point while playing, every time the ball went out of play the whistle that's heard started lasting a few milliseconds less. I'm not sure what triggered it, I couldn't replicate it when I rebooted the Amiga.
Also, the 'Alkis goal' fix that you worked on does not seem to be in this version?
Other than that, I love all the new features!

OK, thanks for the report, I'll take a look at what may be going on.

Re: KO2CV v1.21
Well I've just played a whole load of games in a row with no problems (apart from the eternal problem of my goal scoring ability).
I've checked out the only recent audio-related code change (voice disable) but nothing appears to be causing trouble there.
If you can see a pattern that leads to the issue, that would be very useful.
The "Alkis goal" fix you requested should be in. Let me know what further adjustments you think it needs, or what goal name is given when you think it should have been an alkis goal.

Re: KO2CV v1.21
only thing for sure for me was it was a 2 player single game on an amiga 1200... I first thought it was from pausing and getting stats up, but it also did it when we played a game straight through without pausing.
are you testing on emulator or a proper miggy?

I played a few more games and it got even worse. Most of the tap-tap sounds when you're pushing the ball were gone, and so were the whistle and some of the crowd cheers. Still no apparent cause.

Re: KO2CV v1.21
WinUAE for me. The sound system has 4 channels, when a sound plays it temporarily uses one of the channels and then releases it for reuse. I've seen channels failing to be released before, eventually all 4 channels get stuck and no new sound can be produced, so it could be related to that. Or maybe not!
I'll do some more investigation.

Re: KO2CV v1.21
AUS?
btw thanks for this new version! unluckily I've been very busy in the last 45 days, I just realised today that a new KO2CV was out!
Hope you discovered something in your code digging, about the sound issue. according to what happen as result, it seems a problem of memory allocation. try to check in that way.
Maybe there is a reason because the in-game voice was disable in the original game.

Re: KO2CV v1.21
Yes it seems to be related to the in-game voice disabling. I'll remove that in the next release
