Ok, so after receiving my 'lifetime achievement' aware I decide I better start working out how I can actually achieve something to deserve the gift!
Just like when you look at breaking a record to get your name in Guiness book of records, you look for something simple you can achieve (ie. How many pancakes can you eat in 30 seconds!)
I decided the only thing I can achieve in this 'sport' is to come up with a unique goal I can get named after myself.....
I am not going to win any titles, I am not going to win any games come to think of it, so this is my only route!
So my question is this....what exactly do you have to do to get your GOAL recognised?
Is it a case of scoring it 100 times against Steve Camber, or is it seeing other people copying it, or is there another way?
Obviously the hard part is finding a unique goal of course that I can somehow pull off when needed, but let me deal with that part
I just wanted to know how exactly one goes about getting his name in the game so to speak, who is the 'Norris McWheurter' of the KOA world that I need to convince?

I would like to nominate any goal that the 'keeper spills for a 1 yard tap in as a SimonB goal ... I'm sure Robert, Nazim, Sid and Bounty Bob can back me up on this

Re: How to get a Goal named after you!
I thought the SimonB Goal was the one where you miss the target with Barrett from 2 yards out, keeper on the floor....
you just don't get to see it mentioned, coz it aint actually a goal

Nice thread idea.
You might be on to something there but interestingly you're not the only Simon! Too often than I care to remember, Mr King also scores those tap-ins, usually after a criminal Fisher spillage.
