If that's the only goal you can score, I'd say you're a One Prick Pony (tm).

My way/Your way mode
When enabled, one half of the game is played with Team A's APT settings and the other half is played with Team B's APT settings. A 4th selection is added to the APT menu where you select which half you would like to play with your settings (left for 1st half, right for 2nd half). The player that wins the toss gets to play with their settings in the half they selected.
Dagh suggested something similar to this in his "rule change package" thread.

i like this idea... but, why stop at apt settings? if it's individuals settings to kinda appeal to all, then maybe certain other settings should be taken into consideration?

A Final Whistle/Return To Europe goal celebration music option.
Maybe programmed to play randomly or for certain types of goals.

Would need a Camber-fix to uphold. I'm currenty indifferent. I see both pro- and con-issues.

Re: The KO2CV Wish List: Revisited
What's the idea there? It sounds a little restrictive. It should be easy to do, but what is the gain?

Re: The KO2CV Wish List: Revisited
Probably not as much a discussion on what can be done with the game as it is a debate om tournament-rules, I guess...

Re: The KO2CV Wish List: Revisited
pros - more planning required and less piano playing with the number keys, less off putting the opponent
cons - restrictive for those who use it well as it is, being told what to do by a dictator computer game!
I just mentioned it cause 1. i thought it'd be a bit of a laugh to... and 2. cause it got brought up by a mate.

Re: The KO2CV Wish List: Revisited
I'd be against.
Part of the thing with changing tactics is to be able to play one tactic when attacking and another when defending. Like 424 and 532. Or 424 and The Peoples
Lockout.

Re: The KO2CV Wish List: Revisited
I don't have a problem with my opponent changing tactics. They have obviously studied the game well and know how to capitalise on that knowledge so why deny them that? I just can't be bothered to do the research, so I'll stick with one tactic!
But, just throwing it out there.. we could:
-limit the number of formation changes allowed per game.
-limit the rate of tactic changes (i.e. cant change tactics for 10 seconds since the last tactic change)
-On every tactic change there's a 1% random chance that your opponent gets an instant goal added to their score. Fun!
