How about making the crowd quieter so I can still hear the thuds of my ball dribbling when someone scores a goal on the neighbouring Amiga?

Yes there have been requests to make the crowd and the ref's whistle quieter.
That would be easy enough to do, although I expect there would be moaning from some about the game not 'feeling right' any more.

I vote against it. There is nothing as recognizable in a big tournament as the mixture of game sounds, whistles and crowds, roaring from different amigas, filling the room with that Kick Off feeling.

Rodolfo, how about if the change was described as "Raise the volume of all non-crowd and non-whistle sounds" ?
So you still get exactly the same massive roar from the crowd filling the room, but all the wonderful tap-tap-tap-donk sounds were more easily heard?
