PBD v NO-PBD
I was playing some games last night, and I believe that you get a fiercer shot if you strike it first time, or same effect if you don't have PBD... as with PBD the ball gets stuck under your feet and slows.
I practiced many goals/shots and it was evident that my strikes were better without PBD!
How do you explain this?

Seeing as I can't trap the ball for shit, I might not play with PBD anymore!
Hmmm... unsure...
I score 8 vs Amiga yesterday (finally) and although I had PBD on, it was not used!
I like this goal!!

What do u think?
Pefect turn to shoot and score (with NO PBD).

But trapping is far more important without PBD!Sid wrote:Seeing as I can't trap the ball for shit, I might not play with PBD anymore!

With PBD you don't need to trap as the ball sticks under your feet making it easier to turn. It's much like playing one of the old football games where the ball sticks to your feet.

Dilemna is yes, PBD does help with the odd goal, where just a closer touch is required for a lil jiggle in the box... then score.
BUT on other hand, the gameplay is also faster in the box without PBD, and as has been mentioned, more powerful shot.
I am still undecided!! Can't we have a version with 'half PBD', so its half "natural" and half pbd all at once??
I hate it when the ball gets stuck under the players feet and you jiggle about all over the pitch and mess up what you were intending to do!
edit... ooops!! Went to QUOTE, and I think I edited the original post by mistake

Thanks... I was going just off the top of my head who I have played against. (Nikos is Abyss? I'm still crap with usernames and who the real people are!)

Just so you know, Nikos is some sort of manic miner, but can be a horse. Abyss is a spy, Alex has 3 legs. Nobody knows who Mark Holliday is.. yet, but they soon will. BountyBob is a synthetic human. Ely is a real african elephant.
I hope that makes things clearer.
It might seem confusing, but over the years you get to work out who is who.
