Wiki hacked/deleted?

Postby problem_reporter » Wed Feb 14, 2007 7:57 am

Hello everyone

It seems that wiki has been hacked/deleted... Seems that lack of interest and ignorance for this great wiki led some people to delete/hack this. It seems that this happened on the 9th of February. If you don't have backups, then the Wiki is dead.... That's pitty. Pitty for the community and pitty for all the effort put in this project....

Although I can't remember looking at it more than twice, surely someone has a backup?

Mind you, got to laugh that someone deletes it on the 9th then makes an account on the 14th to brag about it because nobody else has noticed. I bet he thought he was the big man and was tellling his buddies how he hacked this site and loads of people would be upset. Can you imagine if all terrorism worked in this way?

Durban, have you got that wiki security sorted yet?

Why not?

How about now?

The wiki wasn't hacked as such. Some spammer simply edited the main page. No harm done.
