Eeek, I've just been trying to play the game with the default colours, and it's a nightmare ! I've always changed the kit colours as soon as KO2 boots up and now I remember why.
The main problem for me is that the lighter coloured team (red/white) have a DARK scanner colour (red), and the darker coloured team (yellow/black) have a BRIGHT scanner colour.
I also find the default kits are harder to tell apart during frantic gameplay.
I'm not fussy about which colours are used, as long as they are instantly easy to tell apart, and the scanner dot looks like the player.
Looking forward to getting my butt kicked by you lot !

Steve,
I had a go last night with the default colours and definately would agree with Steve Camber's comments.
The radar is hard to make out and would much rather prefer a dark colour versus a light colour ( even black and white would be good)
I am sure everyone would be able to agree to some fixed colours for the tournament games which are more easy on the eyes.

I'm perfectly happy with using the default colours - It's the kit pattern which causes trouble.
As everyone knows, each team has two colours for the kit, the first colour is the one used for the scanner pixels. That should be the colour most visible in the player sprite. Trouble starts when the second colour is more visible than the first in the sprite. The scanner pixel looks like the first colour, and the player sprite looks like the second. Yuk.
But.. there is a simple solution. Out of the six kit styles, just use type 1 (shirt colour 1, and shorts colour 2) or type 6 (shirt+shorts colour 1, with a funky stripe in colour 2).
What I do now after first running the game is to set both kit styles to 1, and leave the colours unchanged. That gives a red team playing a yellow team, which looks very clear.
