Well after dragging those two Amigas almost the whole length of the country, and hauling them around London for half a day, they have sat in a corner gathering dust the whole of the first tournament day! There were more than enough stations without them. The only silver lining is that I only have to drag one of them back again...

It was only 7-0 wasn't it? And friendlies don't count anyway.

I could have done with one of those KO2CV discs they gave out at the end, but I will probably mostly play on the laptop emulator, it's more convenient than setting up the Amiga. And now I can play online against real people, and Lee!

I think before the next WC I attend, I will have some practice games on an Amiga, on the smeggiest bulge-screen TV I can find, with a German sitting next to me shouting in my ear to fully recreate the genuine competition scenario.
