Congratulations Jorn! to top Jacob is definitely not easy, he is a player that improved a lot, he joined the top 8 at the world cup a couple of years ago! well done!
I'm really glad that also Alex joined the fun although the results I see I guess he hand't that much fun! anyway a good training for the world cup. Congratulations to all the participants!

Cheers Jacob. I was almost in shock when it was evident I'd made it. A very nice day for me.

Re: Scandinavian Champs - September 9th 2017 - a new Champion!
Jorn F 5 - 0 Alex Br
Alex Br 1 - 3 Jorn F
My first match was vs Alex. We first met at the Italian Champs last year. A really nice guy who's really cool to be around. His KO-skills are better than the scores, but he's got a huge disadvantage in that he's not too sure about how to build up attacks and score goals. Our second match was closer, and the score-line shows it.
Kenneth H 1 - 4 Jorn F
Jorn F 4 - 3 Kenneth H
It's a little over a year now since Kenneth and I met the first time, and he's very much improved. It's also highly satisfying to see how much he enjoys both the game and the challenge. He vocalises his game at a close to German level. He's a very nice asset to every GameRoom. Our first match was quite easy for me, but in the second round he really gave me a challenge, and I didn't feel sure about anything until the final whistle blew.
Torgny A 2 - 2 Jorn F
Jorn F 1 - 0 Torgny A
Torgny is proving to be one of my closest, and worst, opponents. He has this laid-back attitude that can really have your blood boiling, especially whenever he scores a goal. And of course, on a day where I should succeed to the level I did today, who was the one taking points from me? Torgny... Dammit. Our second match was pure hell. I got the lead pretty early, but he kept on throwing attacks at me all the time, and I didin't dare anything but to use Lockout on him, and even though I had some good chances myself, Torgny defo was the closest on many occasions. Luckily though, his attempts to get on my nerves ended up stressing himself out, finally ending the match at 1-0 to me.
Jorn F 3 - 2 Jacob K
Jacob K 1 - 3 Jorn F
Damn. Lost for words. I've managed a win or two vs Jacob earlier, but usually he's a totally sure winner vs me. And to imagine I'd manage not one, but TWO straight wins in ONE day! Perfect! And Torgny and Jacob decided to rearrange the matches a bit, so my second-to-final match was vs Torgny, and after I won that the match between Jacob and I was the FINAL of the tournament. Jacob had 1 loss (vs me), I had 1 draw (vs Torgny), so I needed a draw at the least. Imagine my surprise when I was up 3-0 during second half!!! Jacob really shook my calm when he got his 1-3 goal with almost 2 mins to go, and I could just see him pawning me with a 4-3 win, but luckily I managed to ride off the storm. Lockout FTW!
This "local" bunch is really starting to fit now I think. We're really getting to know each other, and every gathering we have is a total pleasure. The tournaments just leave me eagerly awating the next.
And to have Alex into the mix this time was really nice. Quality dude.
Also it was a huge pleasure to get a visit from Antonis (w/gf), I'd just enjoy it if he could've stayed longer.
Thanks guys.

"Loved" that 0-1 loss... Thats my favourite type of games. We had one period of 40-50 seconds brutal fight in the mitfield without the ball leaving the pitch or reaching the keepers... Just intense highlightsen tempo KO2-fight

Yes. I see what you mean. Intense. And nerve. 2x5 mins of nerve. It's incredibly exciting, yet, at the end of the game, when winning, I don't feel as much joy and happiness as I just feel relieved. Most often, after such a match I won't be happy, I'm just releived it's over.
