The 2017 World Cup - The Official Thread

The 2017 World Cup will be hosted in Landskrona, Sweden, the last weekend of October; starting with the Dinner & Draw (tm) Friday night, the 27th October. The games start Saturday the 28th October, and we'll crown the World Champion sometime Sunday the 29th October.

The tournament will be arranged at Landskrona IdrottsPlats (Landskrona Stadium), where we'll be using rooms overlooking the football-field; somehting that should provide a very good atmosphere.

Hotel will be Hotel Öresund http://www.hoteloresund.se/ - We've negotiated fair prices, and a booking-code will be provided.

Flights:
We will recommend using Copenhagen Airport (easier to get cheap flights and easier to get to Landskrona). There are trains going directly from here to Landskrona Station - travel-time about 70-90 minutes

You can also use Malmoe Airport - Fight Bus to Lund/Malmoe and then train to Landskrona

The Milan gang is planning the trip. Probably we will miss the Friday opening ceremony as the flight arrives in CPH @ 20.40 but I'm almost sure we will join the fun for the rest of the week end!

We booked our tickets! cousin and me so far but this is just the beginning.
I found also a very good easyjet flight that allows us to be on time for Christmas eve.
Our plane will be on the CPH runway @ 15.50 (Friday 27).

I got some trouble with the hotel website. seems that the English translation isn't working properly so even if click on the english flag the translation is corrupted. I tried with a couple of browser to be sure. is this the first step of brexit side effect?
Please, could you recap prices agreed for rooms?
I reached the room reservation form though but I don't know how and where I have to add the booking code you provided. Please could you provide some more detail for this? thanks in advance
