Hi,

All being well myself and my two brothers will be at the World Cup

Quick question. Is there a rough schedule for the two days? Thinking about travel times and hotels

Really looking forward to this.

Need to get practicing

Welcome ! Your registration didn't go unnoticed !

The schedule isn't set yet but the World Cup will follow the usual protocol.

Saturday: Kickoff probably 10:00-18:00. You might be able to get a super early flight into Dublin on and be there on time.
Sunday: Silver Cup probably 10:00 - 17:00.

The official hotel is the http://www.castle-hotel.ie/ a 10 minute walk to the World Cup venue. If you guys want to economise a triple room costs approx. €50 per person per night.Throw in a cheap Ryanair flight and your sorted!

Question : Olly put Scotland down as his country, just want to verify that wasn't a typo?
Quesion 2: Did you hear of the event on the Retro Gaming podcast ?

I'll do everything I can to make sure you guys attend! Any questions just ask.

Sounds like a later flight Friday might be a better option. Plenty of rest before the action starts.

To be honest I should have picked Scotland too as me and Olly were both born there. But technically we could play for England, Scotland or Italy based on our family tree.

I've known about KO2WC for years but havent had the time/resources to ever make it. I heard about this years first from Dino on twitter but I do follow the Retro Gamer Podcast too.

Whats the crack with joysticks? Do people use there own or share?

I'll update you as representing Scotland too so, are you Luke or Charley ?
Bring your own joysticks definitely. There will be a couple of spare ones but everyone has their own favorite.

Once you book your flights there is no going back, so book early!

Hi Luke, nice choice to come back home on monday, although the plan is to finish early on Sunday, we never finished the whole big screen games before 20.00! last year in Copenhagen we played a evening world cup final! it seemed like a real World Cup event!

Great news Torchiador, looking forward to meeting you.
Are we looking at Fabio, Sandro and Allessandro all playing in the World Cup? If so then this is the Roman invasion that we have been waiting for !
