UK Championships XIII - Sunday 4th August 2013 (Updated)

Hello everyone,
I'm hoping to come to my first tournament, if that is OK?
I'll need to confirm with my good lady but pretty sure I can do anything in the next six months other than 6/7 July so 13/14 July is great. Slight preference for just Sunday but considering Saturday too.

Right, Room is now paid for for SUNDAY 14th July 2013 for the UK Championships.

We still have the option of adding Saturday if we get enough people for a second tournament.

Rooms are availlable at a flat rate for Single/Double/Twin per room at £35 incl. Breakfast (Flexi rate is a bit more, but allows you to cancel until 12:00 on the day)

I will post actual details nearer the time once we have finalised numbers, if we have enough wanting an event on Sat I will sort this.

If people are staying over we will do something on the Sat night, even if its just beers and/or tourney in one of the hotel rooms.


Can we please get people to start confirming now.

Dug my (actually a mate's) Atari STE out of the attic and very pleased to find it, and the Kick Off 2 disc, are still working after at least five years gathering dust. But only in black and white for some reason on my new flatscreen! Now I just need to buy a joystick...

To be honest mAte you are probably better setting up winuae on a pc, gettig a usb joystick and trying on that. You can download the latest version of the competition ko2 disk from her for amiga. As this is wht we will be using in the ukc this year.

Feeling a Kick Off revival at the moment and so I can very much confirm for this and if you guys are doing something on the Saturday (i.e. playing a shit load of Kick Off 2) then I'm up for that as well.

Basically I want to play Kick Off 2 all fucking weekend like the old days.

Let's make it a weekend when everyone can make it! Read this thread: viewtopic.php?f=12&t=13669 isnt the desire to attend and enthusiasm wonderful? Let's get back to that!
oh, and I'm also gonna try and convince two of my old school friends to turn up as well as try and do a bit of kogging.

Me and Andy are there sat for some in room ko2, suggest we need at least 8 on sat to make it worth booking the room as even then we are talking 15 quid a pop!
