Yesterday, I got a positive response from the owner of my prefered location for hosting the austrian tournament. The location, located in the village where I grew up, facilitates the holding of the games as well as the accommodation for the participants.

Venue & Accommodation:
"Landgasthof Sulzerhof" (http://www.sulzerhof.at/)

Costs:
Accommodation: single room 41€, double room 62€ (with breakfast/per night/per room)
Registration fee: ~ 10€

Travel:
By Car: You can use the motorway A21 and the Exits 23 (Abfahrt Heiligenkreuz) if you come from Linz or Exit 26 (Abfahrt Hinterbrühl) if you come from Vienna. Afterwards you have to pass through Sittendorf and will arrive at Sulz after 6 km.
By Plane: You can use either the taxi (costs??) or my special shuttle services which brings you directly to the Venue. The latter service will take place only 1-2x per day, depending on the arrival times of the participants.

Proposed Schedule:
22th May (Saturday):
11h Opening of the Tournament
18h Finish of the Group phase
18h+Dinner at Mostschänke Baladran or Zöchling, etc. (other programs are also possible)

23th May (Sunday):
9h+ KO-phase
14h Final Game
15h Closing of the Tournament

However, I have to confirm the holding of the tournament as soon as possible. Therefore I would need more information on the participants:

@German Participants
When do you plan to arrive? Are ther some participants which want to arrive at Friday, 21th of May?

@Austrian Participants
Please confirm weather and how much persons and accompanying persons will come.

--update March, 7th--

best regards

Helmut

To enshure that the title of the austrian champ stays in Germany I asked Frank if he wants to come as well. He liked the idea, so hopefully we will be at least two germans.

That appears interesting to me. How far is it from Vienna airport to the venue? Is it easy to get there?

Wow - I am really happy to see your interest.

I will wait until the end of February to have an estimate on the number of participants. Afterwards I will post the place for the tournament.

@Oliver St.
The tournament will be within a distance of 40 min from the Vienna Airport (by car). It should be no problem to pick up two players from the Vienna airport.

@Klaus L.
In think it will be a lot of work for you to beat our german colleagues. - But they did not know that we already learned the Oliver St. technique.

best regards

Due to a private incident I have to CANCEL the Tournament taking place on MAY, 15th. The alternate date is May 22th/23th (Pfingsten).

@All Confirmed Players
Please tell me if the new date is ok for you.

best regards
