RIP Mattias E, Sweden

Postby Toggebois » Fri Jan 08, 2010 9:29 am

This monday the Landskrona Boys met in Helsingborg to play a mini-tournament. Mattias was at his best and after 17 of 18 matches the last game was to decied the winner: Mattias E or Dennis N. Mattias had to win the game and it was 1-1 until injury time. Mattias E got a penalty but the goalkeeper saved. Directly after the referee ended the game. We had a fun night, shared some beers and pizza.

The night to thursday Mattias E died in his sleep due to his diabetes. He got 32 years old.

We hed been friends for 26 years and the three of us had played Kick Off together since 1998. I will carry him with me forever.

This is so painful to hear :( From being there playing the game he loves and spending time with his friends to suddenly have this occur... it's very sad and shocking :(

May he rest in peace.

This is terrible. So sudden. When you were sitting with Mattias just days ago, it must be impossible to accept or understand that he is gone now.
