S.S.C '14 - iOS game inspired by KO / Goal (+android)

Postby Uprising Elton » Wed Jul 30, 2014 9:04 am

Hi, just wanted to spread the word of our game to the KO community.

Super Soccer Champs (SSC) has been developed over the last couple of years and with the last update is now much closer to what I set out to achieve with it. Development is continuing and the game will continue to be updated. S.S.C. '15 is in the works and wil be a free update.

iOS - Free edition

iOS - Premium (paid up front, no ads or IAPs)

Also the previous edition is available on Android via Google Play
Free : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jakyl.sscfree

Paid : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jakyl.ssc

Would be great to get more feedback on the game from experienced Kick Off fans!

Hi Played the previous versions it was a lot of fun.

I will try out 14 and cannot wait for 15 :)

glad to see you are still working on this, the older versions were very good so I have great expectations!

I have played the 2013 version on iPad some time ago. I think the careermode is pretty decent, but the actual gameplay on the pitch couldn't convince me to keep playing the game. I had the feeling I was not really in control of the actions of the players. I managed to score goals, but it was more trial-and-error than skill. Sorry, just trying to be honest.

And I have some tips for the trailer video:
- it is too long for a trailer, most people will not view it to the end
- the popup that asks for a rating is showing often during the middle of a game
- a gameplay bug is visible where a player gets stuck in the circle and interferes play
- the first 2 games end in 0-0, which isn't appealing for people who might be interested in the game

But don't hesitate to post the progress on your new version, despite my critical words :)
The more new Kick Off-like games appear, the better it is for the fans of retro footy games.
