I third JB's comments. This is going to be great, even for the 31 of us who don't win the final !
Thanks Mr Screech, you are one cool dude.

Shut it spoon boy, a few lucky goals against the run of play while I was warming up to give you a good thrashing after spending 3 hours on the motorway, just doesn't count. ..and the way you RAN AWAY after that one match shows you were scared of a rematch revealing who was truely best. hehe ! I guess it was just too much for it to be connected to an Amiga. It just couldn't face the future and prefered to end it all instead. A sad end for a great monitor.. sniff..

Do scorelines like 10-0 bring back painful memories, MJB ? Just remember, you may have the advantage of youth, but me+JB have the advantage of gameplay depth after thousands of KO2 games. We taught you everything YOU know, but not everything WE know. Only two weeks to go ! Yay !! SteveC <IMG SRC="/p...

JB,

Don't reckon I can fix your monitor, unless it's just a blown fuse.

Joysticks are more within my capabilities - not too complicated !

If your joystick doesn't break occasionally, then you're not trying hard enough. You should see the thrashing MJB gives a joystick during a KO2 game ! The best place to get microswitch springs from is old dead joysticks. I've got quite a collection now, in my "joystick graveyard". I'll be bringing t...

"10. groovy overscan cheap pitch drawing method Huh? I'm not sure what you mean by this one." On the ST, the pitch extends right to the edge of the TV screen - i.e. no borders, bigger viewing area. And it costs virtually NO CPU time to draw, just an H-blank interrupt changing the palette RGB. I take...

Sure, you can have default team colours. Use use kit style 1 out of the 6 available.

Oh and change the red team to black for colour blind people.

I'm perfectly happy with using the default colours - It's the kit pattern which causes trouble. As everyone knows, each team has two colours for the kit, the first colour is the one used for the scanner pixels. That should be the colour most visible in the player sprite. Trouble starts when the seco...
